Once hidden, the legendary Hakka village of Lai Chi Wo has been revived, becoming a centerpiece of Hong Kong's rural cultural tourism.
荔枝窩隱於新界東北，是保存逾三百年客家原真智慧的傳奇村落，近來更成為香港鄉郊文化旅遊的焦點之一。
HakkaHome at LCW, founded by indigenous villagers, carries the mission of linking stakeholders and advancing sustainable development. Its work spans environmental stewardship, visitor reception, and village coordination, while also driving cultural transmission and rural revitalization. The vision is to protect the original ecology while preserving a natural sanctuary for urban dwellers to pause and reconnect.
Today, Lai Chi Wo thrives with seasonal farming, restored heritage houses turned guest lodgings, and flourishing folk arts—achievements that call for wider sharing to sustain village vitality.
These activities are co-organized by HakkaHome at LCW and SEE Network. Established in 2015, HakkaHome at LCW is both a social enterprise and registered charity. SEE Network, a cultural research organization with over two decades of history, has published more than 40 regional titles, including the Chronicles of Lai Chi Wo in 2026.
由原居民組成的社會企業「暖窩」，肩負連繫各界、推動村落可持續發展的重任。他們不僅參與環境治理、接待訪客、協調村務，更致力文化傳承與鄉村活化，期望在保育原生態之餘，也為城市人保留一片喘息的自然空間。
如今荔枝窩的四時耕作、復修古宅民宿、鄉土藝術等成果豐碩，亟需更多對外分享，以維持鄉村活力。
以下活動由暖窩及文化機構思網絡合辦。暖窩成立於2015年，是荔枝窩原居民創立的社企及註冊慈善機構；思網絡為成立逾二十年的本地文化研究單位，出版超過40份地區文化刊物，2026年最新出版《荔枝窩志》。
